What are the conditions for booking a tour?

To book a tour with Aluoitravel, you need to provide a valid ID card for domestic tours and a passport (valid for at least 6 months) for international tours. For certain countries, additional documents may be required for visa applications, as requested by the Consulate or Embassy.

How far in advance should I book a tour? How early do I need to prepare the required documents? What happens if my visa is denied?

To ensure availability and a well-prepared itinerary, we recommend booking at least one month in advance. For tours that require a visa, the visa application documents must be prepared according to the destination country’s requirements.

In case your visa is denied, you will incur visa application fees and a deposit for the flight ticket as per the tour cancellation policy. If the visa application needs to be submitted in Hanoi, you will be responsible for covering the airfare for this process (if applicable).

What are the requirements for elderly travelers? Why can’t I book a tour for an elderly person?

For females aged 55 and older and males aged 60 and older, Aluoitravel recommends having a family member under 55 (in good health) accompany them to assist if necessary. Travelers aged 70 and above must have a companion under 55 and submit a medical certificate confirming they are fit to travel. Aluoitravel typically does not accept travelers aged 80 and above, as they are not covered by insurance.

What are the conditions for travelers under 18?

Travelers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 18. If traveling with a guardian, both parents must provide authorization (certified by local authorities) to the accompanying adult.

Do I have to pay the full amount upfront, or can I make a deposit?

When booking a tour on www.aluoitravel.com and selecting online payment, you must pay the full 100% of the tour price within the timeframe specified in the confirmation. For direct payments or bank transfers, you can make a 50% deposit and pay the full amount 7-10 days before departure for regular tours, and 10-15 days for holiday or festival tours.

Where can I make cash payments? Do I need to visit the office?

You can make payments at the Aluoitravel head office or its branches. Aluoitravel has several offices in Hue City and branches across the country.

Can I pay by card at the office? Is there a card payment fee?

You can pay by card at Aluoitravel offices without any card fee. However, for foreign credit cards or transactions in foreign currencies, you will bear the currency conversion fees as per your bank’s policies.

Does the tour price include VAT? Can I request an invoice?

All tours include VAT. If you require an invoice, please provide your details when booking and after making full payment. Invoices will be issued and sent after the tour concludes.

Does Aluoitravel include insurance for customers? What is the coverage amount?

Travel insurance is included in Aluoitravel’s package tours, with coverage amounts detailed in the “Tour Inclusions” section and the level of insurance coverage.

Can I choose my tour guide? Are the tour guides friendly and knowledgeable?

The tour guides are assigned by Aluoitravel based on the itinerary and their availability. Our tour guides undergo regular training and knowledge updates, ensuring high-quality service.

What documents are needed for a visa—specifically for tours requiring visas?

Visa application documents include:

• 02 photos (3.5 x 4.5 cm, white background)
• Original passport and any previous passports (if applicable)
• Household registration book (notarized copy)
• Marriage certificate (if applicable, notarized copy)
• Proof of current employment, financial capability, and other documents as required for each visa type.

Are the hotels located in central areas? Do they meet the reported standards?

Aluoitravel ensures that hotels meet the standards of the tour as consulted. The location and amenities of the hotel depend on the type of tour selected (budget, deluxe, or standard).

If I book alone, how will my room be arranged? If I book for 3 people, can we have 3 separate beds?

For domestic tours: Solo travelers will have to pay a single room supplement. If we find a matching roommate, the supplement will be refunded. For international tours: You may share a room or opt for a single room. For groups of three, hotels will provide an extra bed or a sofa bed
